Click the image to view the comic. The Apartment of Irony is a web comic by Jimmy Cuadra about the wacky adventures of two roommates. The comic is created through APCE (Altered Perception Comic Engine), a tool written by Jimmy that draws from a pool of over 150 component images to build a comic dynamically through HTML layers. Every background, character, object, and word balloon is a separate component. A web interface is used to create comics by adding and manipulating several components.
